"Billing seemed fair to me, canceling took a bit"
In my experience, the billing was straightforward and made sense. Canceling wasn’t too bad, but it did take a little back and forth before everything was fully sorted out.

"Texting is useful, but it feels a little rough"
I really wanted to like the texting feature because it’s convenient when it works. Most days it does the job, but I’ve had messages come in late or not sync right away, which gets frustrating when a customer is waiting on a response.

The inbox can also get kind of chaotic if a few people are replying at the same time. I found myself refreshing more than I expected just to make sure I wasn’t missing anything, and that gets old fast.
Support was nice and helped a little, but overall it still feels clunky for what it costs. It’s okay for basic texting, just not as smooth as I hoped. Anyway

"Easy to use, but it should respect your time a little more"
Podium is straightforward for the basic stuff, and I appreciate that it doesn’t take a ton of training to get started. That said, some parts feel a little clunky and take more clicks than they probably should. I can usually get where I need to go, but a tool people rely on day to day ought to make those common tasks as simple and fair to the user’s time as possible. Overall, it’s not bad at all, just could be smoother.

"Works with the tools we already use"
Podium connected with our CRM and phones easily, really easily. We didn’t have to change much, that was the best part for us.

"Leads started coming in fast"
My snap judgment: the webchat is solid. We started getting more leads quickly, which was exactly what we wanted. The only thing I’d ding it for is the setup, it could’ve been a little clearer upfront.

"Decent, but overpriced"
It works fine enough, but it feels way too expensive for what you actually get. I also wasn’t thrilled with the support — the email replies felt like they were written by robots, not real people actually reading my issue.

"Not really worth the hassle"
I didn’t have a great experience. I reached out to support a few times, and each time it felt like I was just getting passed around without much actually getting fixed. Even the little things I asked about never really got a clear answer, which made the whole process more frustrating than it needed to be.

"Onboarding was ROUGH"
The onboarding was messy. The training felt rushed, and we were left confused about a lot of basic stuff. Every time we asked questions, we seemed to get bounced from one person to another instead of getting clear answers. Not exactly the best first impression, to be honest.

"The reporting could really use some work"
I’m trying to be fair here, but the analytics just don’t line up with my actual totals. It’s frustrating because reporting is supposed to help, not make me double-check everything manually. As it is, I don’t really feel like I can trust the numbers

"Pretty helpful overall, just a little slow"
The support team was nice and helpful when I reached out, so that part was good. I just wish the replies came a bit faster sometimes, especially when I was waiting to get things sorted.

"Podium has been decent for setting up basic..."
Podium has been decent for setting up basic automations and follow-up workflows. It definitely saves us time when it comes to texting customers, which is a big plus. That said, some parts feel a little clunky, especially when you’re trying to edit something after it’s already live. I’ve had to reach out for help a few times to figure things out. Overall, it works fine and does what we need it to do. I just wish the workflow setup was a bit more straightforward and didn’t involve so much clicking around.

"Pretty useful, but it can be a little unreliable"
podium has been helpful for us overall. Most days it does what we need, especially when it comes to keeping track of customer messages in one place. I also like being able to get a feel for where a customer is coming from based on their wording or tone, even if I’m sometimes just making an assumption from how they sound.
That said, it’s not always the steadiest platform. We’ve had notifications show up late, pages load slowly at the worst times, and a few messages that didn’t appear right away. When you’re trying to respond quickly, that gets frustrating fast.

Support usually does respond, which I appreciate, but the hiccups can still throw off the day. I wouldn’t say it’s a bad platform at all, just one that would be a lot better if it were more consistent
